The ascent time depends on how we will climb - on a snowcat or on foot. I wrote about the snowcat in detail below.

In case of a successful ascent the day before, today we will have to descend to the valley, transfer to our hotel, and accommodation. After lunch - free time. In the evening - dinner dedicated to climbing Elbrus. Presentation of certificates.

ABOUT RATRAK
IMPORTANT !
Many climbers use the services of a snowcat that lifts them to different heights (on request). Ratrak significantly increases the chances of climbing, saves strength. Let me remind you that without a snowcat the path from the shelter to the top takes 10-12 hours, then 5-6 hours for the descent. Climbers should be fully aware that they are ready for such loads at high altitude if they plan to go out without a snowcat. The situation may be exacerbated by difficult snow and ice
conditions on the slopes of Elbrus.
Ratrak takes up to 12 people on board, therefore, in order to save money, it makes sense to rent it for several groups. Thus, the cost per person will be much less.
ATTENTION!!! Guides accompanying groups do not pay for the snowcat!! This is a normal practice of commercial ascents.
The cost of a snowcat depends on the heights to which climbers are raised.
5100 m =1000 USD (beginning of traverse).
4700 m =600 USD (upper part of the Pastukhov rocks).
4600 m =500 USD (lower part of the Pastukhov rocks).
The price is for the summer period. This cost is divided by the number of people using the snowcat. Often we
we cooperate with other groups, then its cost becomes less for the participants.
Accommodation in the village of Cheget in a hotel, double room, 3 or 4 nights.
Accommodation on the slopes of Elbrus - in a shelter, at an altitude of 3840 m. Food in the shelter 3 times a day, prepared by a cook.
Meals at the hotel in the Elbrus region - breakfasts are included in the price of the program. Lunches and dinners - we eat ourselves in a cafe,
desire. The cost of lunch or dinner per person = approximately 600 rubles.
In the shelter, the group is served by a cook, meals 3 times a day.
During the daytime acclimatization trips, a lunch package is issued (sandwich, fruit, biscuits, chocolate, juice bag).
Throughout the program, the group is accompanied by a guide from the company. On the day of climbing Elbrus, for safety reasons, in addition to the main guide, the group is accompanied by assistant guides, at the rate of 1 guide for 3 participants.
If in everyday life you use medicines, then it is better to have them with you. The guide will have a first aid kit with a standard set of medicines.
Climbing Elbrus can pose a danger to human health and life.
Guides accompanying the group throughout the program ensure safety only if the rules and safety precautions of all participants without exception are observed. Therefore, we recommend that you listen to the opinion and advice of the guides accompanying you.
During the ascent and in critical situations, participants must fully and unquestionably follow the recommendations and instructions of the guides. All actions and decisions on the route during a situation that threatens the safety of the participants are solely within the competence of the guides accompanying the group.
Our guides have with them the necessary group equipment, a GPS navigator with points entered along the route, a walkie-talkie to communicate with each other, a mobile phone with the numbers of the area's rescue services, and a first aid kit.
Safety for us remains the main condition for fulfilling obligations to the client!
